Alex

Alex is a laid-back lap cat who loves to have his cheeks rubbed.  He gets along well with cats, dogs and loves to be cuddled by older children.  He tends to hide when you have company.

I was found drinking from a mud puddle, but now I'm a debonair black cat with a white spot on my chest.  I'm big and husky with a tough-guy meow, but that's just an act.  I'm very loving. I enjoy sitting on laps and like other cats and dogs, too.  I'd love a home with plenty of windows.

My name is Beauty and I came to live with my foster mom when my owner could not care for me anymore. My coat is ticked which means that each hair of my coat is two different colors.  I am, well look at my name... a beautiful, sweet cat who loves to sit on the back of the couch and look out the window. She came to us with five kittens - all boys - who have long since been adopted.  She gets along well with other cats and dogs.  She loves to be petted by humans, but enjoys her independence.

I came to my foster home when my owner couldn't care for me anymore. I am a very sweet, handsome cat and I love to lie on my window perch keeping an eye on my domain.

My name is Hershey.  I am a shy, brown tabby short hair who was born in 2006.  I was rescued from a very crowded house. I am very sweet - just as sweet as a Hershey Kiss! I don't mind cats and I totally love my dog "brother".

My name is Hilary.  When my owner died I came to live with my foster mom. I was born in 2003. I am a sweet, black cat whose coat feels just like silk. I sleep with my mom and sister, Pilar, every night and love to hang out with other cats and dogs.

Juniper

Juniper is a spayed female. She is a bit shy with strangers so she will need someone who will give her time to adjust to a new home. Once she gets to know you, she loves great hugs. Born 1999.

Kara, calico, female, born 2002. She is so so sweet. She has extra toes (which is considered good luck) and is fine with other pets.

Katie's a very affectionate lap cat who loves other cats and even gets along with cat-friendly dogs.

My name is Lewis - you can call me Lew Ball.  I was born in 2003 and came to live with my foster mom when my owner died.  I am very sweet and affectionate though I really don't like to be held. I make up for that by helping my foster mom make the bed every morning even though she says she doesn't need my help!

Born 2006.  I'm a little shy at first, but once you get to know me I'm very loving.  I love laps and will talk to you when I need to be petted.  I'd like a quiet home.  I get along well with other cats and dogs.

My name is Ling. I was born in 2002 and my foster mom thinks I am part Siamese even though I'm all black - I just have that exotic look.  I came to live with my foster mom when my owner died.

My name is Little Boy Blue.  I was born in 2006 and was rescued from a very crowded house. I may have blue in my name but I actually have beautiful leopard spots.  I enjoy the company of other animals.

My name is Lizzie.  I was born in 2005.  I was left behind when my owner moved away. I would prefer to be the only pet in the household. When you pick me up, I'll wrap my furry little arms around your neck and give you hugs!

This is Lola, a female/spayed loving cat.  She absolutely adores children and will follow them throughout the entire shelter when they visit.  Lola is such a lovely cat and has such unique markings.  She gets along with other cats and doesn't really mind any of our dogs during social time.  Lola would love to have a home with kids who know how to care for her.

My name is Lucky.  I am a boy and was born in 2001. Not only am I lucky, I'm also ruggedly handsome and I love to play - I'm the whole package.  Being your only pet would suit me just fine.

Mittens, a spayed female, is sister to Bailey and also has extra toes. Abused and abandoned as a kitten, Mittens remains very shy and would need a patient person who would be willing to work with her. That is very difficult to do in a foster home with multiple pets. Mitten would do best in a quiet environment where she can feel secure and get some one on one attention. She gets along well with other cats. Born 1996.

My name is Nichole. I am from a family of four. I have brother who has found a wonderful home. I am short haired and am for the most part black, but have a little bit of white. I was born in a tack box at my foster momís barn and was brought to my current house that same day. I love to play. My favorite toy is a blue scratch toy with a spring and a ball on it. My name is Norris.  I am a female who was born in 2005. I was found under some shrubbery, very sick and pregnant. I am a shy sweet girl, a little "full-figured" but that doesn't stop me from playing with the other cats and dogs.

This is Oscar, a neutered male Tonkinese who is very unique and such a loving little guy.  Oscar has been at the shelter for about one month and is a little shy but once you start petting him, he loves to be around you.  Oscar is a pretty neat looking cat and super nice.  He doesn't really mind any of the other cats as they will rub all over him and he just sits there.  Tonkinese are lively, friendly, and often talkative cats and are a cross between a Siamese and Burmese.  These cats are often chosen as the breed of choice because of their wonderful disposition and personality.  If you would like to meet Oscar, stop by the shelter and say hello.

My name is PDQ.  I am a male brown tabby born in 2006 who was rescued from an overcrowded house.   When my foster mom scoops my litter box, I always put my little paw out and hold her hand - I guess that's my way of thanking her for keeping the you know what scooped!  I am shy but affectionate, I like to cuddle up with my dog "brother" and I get along great with other cats.

My name is Penelope. I am a silky short hair calico spayed female. Cute, sweet and playful, I just want to be your best friend. I love to nap in the sunshine, and follow the sumbeam throughout the house. I get along well with other cats, and possibly dogs too. Born 2000.
